What HungryRaccoon is

HungryRaccoon is a social food app for Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It's a food diary you share with friends: rate the restaurants, cafés and street food places you've eaten at, keep lists of where to go next, and see what your friends are loving.

How rating works

Instead of picking stars, you say whether you liked a place, thought it was fine, or didn't like it. Then the app asks you to compare it with a few places you've already rated, one pair at a time. Your answers put every place in order, and each one gets a score from 1 to 10 that reflects your own taste.

Finding somewhere to eat

You can browse places by neighbourhood and by cuisine, search by name, and see which places are open now. You can look around without an account; you only need one to rate places and make lists. Restaurant details come partly from public sources, including Google, so please check with a place before you go.

Where we are

HungryRaccoon is still in the making. We're testing early versions of the app, and it isn't on the App Store or Google Play yet. Follow along on Instagram and TikTok to hear when it's ready.
